Located in Homewood in the Palisades Center as part of the Virginia College campus complex, The Café offers a quality breakfast and lunch experience delivered in a timely fashion at a value price.  Joining the restaurant scene in 2010, The Café brings a unique culinary experience to today's busy professionals and tomorrow's business leaders.  The Cafe is convenient to area offices and residences and the I-65/Oxmoor Road interchange.  Breakfast menus offer such treats as hot ham, turkey or bacon sandwiches, Southwestern chorizo and cheese, loaded grits, or a breakfast platter of scrambled eggs, grits, bacon or sausage (turkey or pork), and a freshly-baked biscuit or toast.  Lunch specials include freshly made soups, sandwiches, salads, or wraps, or pasta specials like fettuccini Alfredo or spicy penne pasta.

The Cafe is a teaching establishment where a staff of professional chefs provide a learning lab environment for culinary and pastry arts students from Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College in Birmingham.
